In this episode, I take you on a journey through my personal experience with Arts Umbrella, a visual arts program that completely transformed my artistic journey as a child. I can’t even express how amazing this program was and how it exposed me to a diverse range of art forms that helped me develop my skills.
I still vividly remember the drive to Granville Island as a kid, where I would attend classes and consistently create art while receiving guidance from my instructors. This experience motivated me to pursue art professionally, and I’ve been diving deep into the creative economy ever since as an artist and entrepreneur.
In this video, I also talk about the impact of youth engagement in the arts and the crucial role that the creative economy plays in our local communities. I believe that art education has the power to transform lives, and I’m so excited to share this message with you.
