In this episode, I take you behind the scenes and show you how I work my magic right on the street, even while braving the pouring rain and engaging with curious passersby.
You’ll see me painting a mural featuring “figures walking in the rain, holding Starbucks cups”. I wanted to paint art that imitated life, and I am so pleased with how it turned out. I find inspiration all around me, and I love creating art that reflects what I see happening in real-time.
I was determined to make those cups pop, so as you watch the video, you’ll see me moving from section to section, painting every inch of the mural. I’m big on documenting my creative process and getting feedback from others; and as an artist, it’s always satisfying to see my art come to life in action.
But the most important lesson you’ll take away from this video is the importance of adaptation and working with the weather. Rain or shine, we persevere to bring our vision to life. It’s a lesson we can all apply in our lives, don’t you think? So, check it out, and be sure to let me know what you think in the comments. And don’t forget to share it with your friends! Thanks for reading, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
Warmly, Garett
